Winery review: “This red fills your palate with luscious plum flavors and finishes with a kick of spice. It's deliciously fruity, filled with flavor, and full of surprises.” The Naked Grape Winery

My review: For this tasting, I wanted to try some reds. I bought one inexpensive Merlot and one Malbec. Look out for the Merlot review soon! I really enjoyed this Malbec even though it was quite inexpensive. The nose was very much dark fruit with some interesting spice qualities. Upon tasting, the wine was very tannic—almost over-drying. I got over this pretty quickly and enjoyed the wine. It seemed like a pretty straightforward red fruit flavor. It was more cherry than raspberry, but I tasted mostly just non-descript ‘red’. I would definitely get this wine again.

I tasted this on its own with no food.
